Useful? - As far as "how-to manuals" for collaboration go, I guess this set is useful. However, I wonder how practical and applicable it will actually be? I suppose I need to wait until the school year starts...

Quick and easy read, though. So, it's got that going for it.

Clear, helpful, intelligent, compassionate writing - Marvelous. The authors are informed and intelligent, practical and warm. This is a guide which offers concrete suggestions as well as an overriding philosophy of understanding (and acceptance). A welcome addition to any classroom/school/parent's library.

Tremendously helpful! - "You're Welcome: 30 Innovative Ideas for the Inclusive Classroom" is an extremely well written, easy to read and user friendly series of books. This series was tremendously helpful to me in preparing for IEP meetings at my son's school by helping me better understand the process in general and helping me identify goals and strategies to suggest to the team. This series was also helpful to me in other aspects of my life (unrelated to my son, who has special education needs) by teaching problem solving strategies and support strategies that I have utilized in my personal relationships and work relationships. Schwarz and Kluth have done an outstanding job moving the field of special education forward and helping educators and families support people with special needs. THANK YOU!
