Sound - MacArthur is right on with his study on the Word of God. I have ben a fan of Jon Coursen, Skip Heitzig, witch are excellent teachers, but MacArthur seems to just go deeper whyle bing right in line with the other teachers of the Word. I have ben going threw it and I have ben blessed. I thank God for bringing sound teachers into my life and MacArthur being one of them. God bless, and Live Forever. schreck

MacArthur Bible commentary - John MacArthur is a very distinguished bible schoolar and teacher, his insight and interpretation of scripture is accurate and biblically based.
It is difficult to find these complete commentaries anymore, I was happy to be able find one on amazon from a private vendor.

Good supplement to your study of God's word - don't look for this to change your life, or revamp your quiet times. God's word is sufficient. however, there is a lot of great stuff in this commentary. it will definitely open your eyes to more and more ways to apply God's word to your life. it's very thorough and serves as a great reference tool as well.

Very usefull - I may not agree with Dr. MacArthur on everything (KJV vs NASB) but this commentary is a great resource if you have a question on any verse.
