validation - a different perspective - This book was recommended to me after I had decided to get a divorce. It served to validate that I had made the right decision. Of the ten most important needs in an intimate relationship that the author discussed, my relationship was meeting none of those needs - zero, zip. No wonder I felt so emotionally depleted! The author also talked about an emotional bank with deposits and withdrawals. The book helped me understand some of what had brought me to where I was at the time and helped me recover from the sense of loss and guilt that I felt for deciding to leave the marriage.

A Must-Read - I see so many marriages trying to survive affairs or ending in divorce. When I remarried recently, I did so with a determination to make this marriage the best it could be. After reading several books on the topic, I have found this book to be the absolute best! I've already read it twice and am now re-reading the sections I highlighted the first times through. I believe this book is a must-read for every married couple, whether just starting out, happily married, or in trouble.

Absolutely amazing! - I loved this book. It is amazing and Harley hit's it on the nose. I highly suggest this book to couples. I'm a psychology student and from what I've learned, Harley is right on. He gives you a unique perspective that is easy to understand.

OMG, BEST BOOK EVER. SAVES MARRAIGES IN A DAY. - I have to tell you, i dont read books like this as i find them extremely boring, HOWEVER THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST BOOK EVER/UPSIDE THE BIBLE... So interesting and helpful that u cant put it down. Each chapter keeps u glued to it. It really saved my marraige, IN 1, YES, ONE SINGLE DAY. MY husband changed, i changed also, IN ONE DAY. i kid u not. its so easy to apply these problem solvers IMMEDIATELY. We've gone to marr. counslers before in past ten yrs. Still do. My marraige counsl. told me to get this book. its so hard to find. the book is so good, nobody, i mean nobody in the state returns it to any of the library's. Not one copy to be found in louisiana. We are 19 yrs married. We were so loving,kind,friendly,in love, and loved each other and lusted each ohter for a yr after the marr. and then bamm. something happened. then kids came along, then grandkids. We've been thru hell but this book actually, IN ONE DARN DAY, BROUGHT US BACK TO WHEN WE WERE DATING AND FIRST MARRIED, NEWLYWEDS. ITS UNREAL HOW THIS BOOK WORKS IMMEDIATELY.
