Informative and Interesting - I had to buy this book for my Intro to Education Class (MAT program). It was informative and the topics were very interesting. I would like to have read more than just one argument for both sides, but I think it was worth the buy.

An interesting binary discussion - I bought this book as a required text book for a graduate course. While generally I don't find my text books particularly interesting, this one is. It is divided into sections, each section focusing on a different educational issue, and that issue is dissected from both sides of the argument. I find the binary discussion to be very enlightening and edifying.
