It's not called the "Bible of ABA" for no reason... - This textbook is a must-have for anyone doing ABA. It's comprehensive and explains even the most difficult concepts in ways to help you truly learn the material and understand what you're reading. This is one book that I will be keeping even after I finish my degree. I'm also a parent of a child with autism and recommend this for parents who want to understand the foundations of ABA and why we do what we do with our kids.

Applied Behavior Analysis by Cooper, Heron, & Howard - This book is the gold standard of texts for ABA practioners. It covers the primary material well in addition to the focus on certification. I should have bought it as soon as it came out. The first edition was good, but this is a much more useful text, not just an update of the first edition.

Very practical - I love this textbook. I tried previously to get my BCBA coursework done using a different textbook and had to drop the first class because it was too consusing. But this textbook clearly teaches a BCBA student the principles of ABA without making your head spin. I was failing my ABA class when using a different textbook and now I am getting A's on the quizzes. Also, this book comes along with a website were you can review chapters and take practice quizzes. Highly recommended textbook and worth the high price.
