Clear and concise - This text is easy to read. Different sections are devoted to different types of psychotherapy and chapters are broken down to individual styles within those types. Additional sections that "compare and contrast" the different types of therapy help to clarify the ways the therapies are similar and different.

assessment - I thought that the book would provide more detailed information
regarding the major concepts of the various theories. I was also disappointed
that it did not offer specific information about the most popular interventions.
It was more of an introduction to various theories. It did not
offer what I needed which was a thorough review of each theory. However, it is
a good introductory book at the Undergraduate level.
