Good Intro to Stats Book - My professor said the 6th edition of the textbook was an acceptable stand-in for the 7th and I found this one for a jaw-dropping five bucks. I thought it was a great introductory text. I like that they kept it direct and simple and I thought the explanations of the theory of the equations really helped understand what was happening in the equations.
I could see someone with less of an aptitude for math needing more drawn out explanations but when they start stretching things out and talking like you're dim, I usually zone out and eventually lose track of what they're talking about.
I thought it was funny the way most of the "In the Literature" (or something like that) sections at the end of each chapter basically said that researchers seldom actually use some of these methods because they're impractical and rely on data you'd pretty much never have. I understand that a lot of those procedures need to be understood because I'm sure they are sometimes used but even more because you need to understand them so you can understand the more complicated, more practical equations.

Stats sucks and this was a little bit of help - This was the study guide to my book. It actually helped me a little bit, however not enough! But it was the teacher and not the material in this study guide.

Great tables and charts - I had this book for an intro stats course for psychology but foolishly sold it back after the class was over. I'm purchasing it again through amazon marketplace because I'm taking an advanced stats class and would like to have access to the TERRIFIC tables and charts in the back of the book. The professor for the advanced stats class also likes the charts and tables in this particular book and keeps a copy of it just for that.
I didn't give it five stars because the book's odd-only answers irritates me, and because there are some errors in calculations that can be tremendously confusing for beginning stats students. Otherwise it's a great book (and those issues are fairly minor ones).

it was ok - It took the book a bit longer to arrive then I expected, and it is not the greatest condition. The cover is a bit torn up and some pages are about to come off. But since I make good use of it, it was worth the buy.

shipping problem - product is as described. original price is great. paid extra for expedited shipping, took more than 7 days to arrive. that is not expedited service in my humble opinion. such a disservice. very unhappy with sellar's shipping policy. will not purchase again. already found another place to purchase college books. chegg.com cheaper & faster shipping.
